Wavy Dave’s Sauce Co

is a specialty food company based in Santa Cruz, California with an emphasis on sauces. All our products are plant-based, gluten free, dairy free and delicious! Organic produce and high-quality ingredients are at the core of every recipe. Owner, operator and executive chef, Dave Hansmann, started Wavy Dave’s Sauce Co to share his culinary creations with the world. During Covid times, he and his best friend did a lot of cooking together and always found themselves arriving at the same conclusion - most of the flavor in our meals comes from the sauce! And so much of those amazing flavors come from natural whole foods. What began as an exploration into the necessary steps to start a food company quickly developed into Wavy Dave’s Sauce Co A food company that advocates for the following company values:

California is a land of enormous abundance. Just a stone’s throw away, Santa Cruz is neighbors to some of the largest farms in the state, growing the freshest seasonal fruits and vegetables. The Salinas Valley is dubbed “America’s Salad Bowl” and for good reason! Wavy Dave’s Sauce Co endeavors to source all ingredients locally and support surrounding communities.
